@pamelf: you can actually destroy the items you put in your HoM. Destroyer and Tormented weapons, minipets and armor will stay in your HoM even after you delete/salvage them. But I'd never do that, as I find that a big waste of my gold. I like the stuff I have in my HoM, and plan to hold on to them. So yeah, from that point of view you'd need more space, but technically you don't have to save the things that are already in your HoM.

Mm, I know, but I just can't imagine destroying something I paid good money fore. Besides, when they're actually bought I do use them for practical purpose. Just out of interest, does anyone actually destroy their elite armour when they've put it in the HoM?

We all know that having non stackable items in Guild Wars causes a lack of storage so we buy extra character slots(mules) to keep the game we love free! I have no problem paying for storage. but logging in and out to transfere between chars... I mean cmon programmers LETS JUST BUY LARGER CHESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would gladly pay 10 dollars even 20 for twenty extra slots on my chest as opposed to having all these characters logging between to find my customized sword of enchanting or mod needed atm. With extra storage all I have to do is go to my chest and pull it out! Characters are not for storage chests are let me BUY more space. YOU WIN WE ALL WIN. (PROFIT INCREASED PLAYABILTY IS BETTER)

I wouldn't pay extra just for more storage. I'd just buy another character that I can do something (like NF treasure run) with.

A good idea would be to get like one more tab in the storage for x number of characters in the account.
They did it for the campain and expansion I think, It will be a good idea that for each 4 slots you get an extra tab. Not that they would do it, but it would be nice...

noted. I already have characters of every class and mules I don't play holding stuff for them. The point here is its a pain to log on and off to get to the stuff they are holding when I could just buy a little space in storage to put them.

i love how "they are too busy working on gw2" is the excuse for everything anet fails to look at as a problem. for the past year anets solution to gw has been to ignore game mechanic bugs and instead give the people silly weekend events, more heros with a limit of 3 per player, and consumables.

obviously anet dosnt care about gw1 and the simple solutions to fix it, the game is dead. but dont use gw2 as an excuse. the game has been delayed multiple times already.

$10 for a new char with 45 slots. $5 for an extra tab (20 slots) would be reasonable.

You all have made good points and suggestions. I agree totally with you.

All I want for Christmas is closet space (a girl has to keep her wardrobe in good hanging condition) and Library shelves (this is for all the 11 books that I am trying to carry-4 for EOTN, and 7 for the 3 games) for each of my characters.

...and yes I would be willing to pay for it.

This, aswell 99% other suggestions won't and shouldn't happen in GW. 1% of these suggestions might happen in GW2. Seriously, Anet has enough work to do with GW2. Especially when it seems it's delaying (we haven't got any information and no beta, even Gaile said that 2008 will be exciting year, beta, new info, etc.).

its not out fault that GW is is delayed, they barely do any updates and they sure as hell arent adding more content, thus either their lazy on both GW1 and GW 2 or they just dont care about GW1 and are just working slowly in GW2. either way its not fair to us that they ignore GW1 just because their too lazy to add a small thing like storage.

I remember that item in Diablo that was used to combine items (cant remeber the name) that later became storage. Similar to the one for the minipet quest (black moa).

THat would be a good adition to the game.
